Ciao!
We are Elena Beatrice and Daniele Lince, a writer-director duo who have been working together since 2016.
We have written and directed several short films and documentaries, selected by various festivals and competitions, including Nastri d’Argento, Visioni Italiane, and Giffoni Film Festival.
We have always been passionate about stories and we deeply believe in their game-changing power.
Our artistic exploration mainly focuses on telling stories about incommunicability, self-discovery, and relational and generational struggle.
Aside from our projects we work on commission, especially brand movies (narrative and documentary), music videos, and commercials.
We are also involved in workshops and educational projects, taking on roles such as lecturer, writing/directing supervisor, and tutor.
We can collaborate in many ways, so don’t hesitate to reach out!
Siamo Elena Beatrice e Daniele Lince, un duo in scrittura e regia che lavora insieme dal 2016.
Abbiamo scritto e diretto diversi film brevi e documentari, selezionati da vari festival e concorsi, tra cui Nastri d’Argento, Visioni Italiane e Giffoni Film Festival.
Siamo da sempre appassionati di storie e crediamo profondamente nel loro potere trasformativo.
La nostra ricerca artistica si concentra principalmente sul racconto di incomunicabilità, ricerca di sé e conflitti relazionali e generazionali.
Oltre ai nostri progetti personali, lavoriamo su commissione, in particolare su brand movie (narrativi e documentari), videoclip musicali e spot pubblicitari.
Siamo anche coinvolti in workshop e progetti educativi nel ruolo di docenti, nella supervisione artistica e come tutor di scrittura e regia.

In occasione dell’anniversario della Convenzione di Istanbul contro la violenza sulle donne, Artex Film presenta il film FEMMINILE SINGOLARE.
Sette episodi, un film, sette storie che raccontano le donne sotto variegati punti di vista, sfaccettature, colori.
In “Il Vestito Da Sposa”, Simona è moglie, madre, lavoratrice. Tra i turni in fabbrica, il marito disoccupato, il figlio adolescente e un fratello perdigiorno, l’unica sua gioia è la figlia Deborah e il vestito da sposa che sogna per lei: un desiderio che finisce per trasformarsi in ossessione.
In “Ballerina”, una prostituta viene scaricata di notte da un’auto, si rialza in una periferia desolata, sale su un autobus. Nel percorso, realtà e sogno si confondono: una bimba le racconta il sogno di diventare ballerina, un ragazzo molesta una coetanea, la ragazza, sfinita, affronta degli energumeni.
In “Rise Of A Star”, Emma sta per diventare prima ballerina, ma qualcosa la disturba: un segreto che potrebbe minare il coronamento del suo sogno.
In “Ajo”, Zana deve prendere una decisione coraggiosa, quando a sua madre viene chiesto di tacere su quello che le è successo.
In “Waiting For” è il rapporto tra madre e figlia, mai uguale, a volte problematico al centro, tra esperienze vissute e amore reciproco.
In “Revirgination”, una coppia nell’Albania del 2018 decide di sposarsi, ma si scontrerà con la vecchia tradizione per cui la madre dello sposo deve essere presente alla prima notte di nozze per assicurarsi che la sposa sia vergine.
Infine, in “Hand In Cap” una madre di quarant’anni, vive con il figlio ventenne Andrea, affetto da gravi danni motori e neurologici. Andrea sente la necessità di masturbarsi. Niente sembra essere efficace, nemmeno l’aiuto di una prostituta. Andrea non sa e non saprà mai, ma chiede amore…

Get Big is a feature-length documentary about Ultimate. Ultimate is a team sport played with a flying disc. It was born in American counterculture at the end of the 60s. Now it is played all over the world and it is founded on fair play and Spirit of the Game. There is no referee and players call their own fouls.
Following Beefree, a team from Turin, we‘ll find out about a game that could teach us a lot. Throughout the championship games, it won’t miss a chance to live the original Spirit of the Game. Indeed, we’ll see our players during a great hat beach tournament, on the island of Sardinia. Will Beefree be able to maintain the balance between the soul of Ultimate and the desire to win?

THE SCIENTIST OF SOUND
Mulatu Astatke is a musician, composer, arranger and Ethiopia’s cultural ambassador. He’s known as the godfather of ethio-jazz, a unique blend of jazz, traditional Ethiopian music, latin, caribbean reggae and afro-funk. Born in 1943 in Jimma, Mulatu studied music not only in Ethiopia but also in UK and USA. Indeed, in 1958 he was the first African enrolling to the Berklee College of Music in Boston. In 2005 he contributed to the soundtrack of Jim Jarmusch’s film “Broken Flowers”, reaching a new public worldwide. When he’s not busy with international tours, Mulatu lives in Addis Ababa, where he founded a music school and his own club, The African jazz Village. Astatke recently published “Cradle Of Umanity”, in collaboration with the multi-ethnical band Black Jesus Experience.

In occasione dell’anniversario della Convenzione di Istanbul contro la violenza sulle donne, Artex Film presenta il film FEMMINILE SINGOLARE.
Sette episodi, un film, sette storie che raccontano le donne sotto variegati punti di vista, sfaccettature, colori.
In “Il Vestito Da Sposa”, Simona è moglie, madre, lavoratrice. Tra i turni in fabbrica, il marito disoccupato, il figlio adolescente e un fratello perdigiorno, l’unica sua gioia è la figlia Deborah e il vestito da sposa che sogna per lei: un desiderio che finisce per trasformarsi in ossessione.
In “Ballerina”, una prostituta viene scaricata di notte da un’auto, si rialza in una periferia desolata, sale su un autobus. Nel percorso, realtà e sogno si confondono: una bimba le racconta il sogno di diventare ballerina, un ragazzo molesta una coetanea, la ragazza, sfinita, affronta degli energumeni.
In “Rise Of A Star”, Emma sta per diventare prima ballerina, ma qualcosa la disturba: un segreto che potrebbe minare il coronamento del suo sogno.
In “Ajo”, Zana deve prendere una decisione coraggiosa, quando a sua madre viene chiesto di tacere su quello che le è successo.
In “Waiting For” è il rapporto tra madre e figlia, mai uguale, a volte problematico al centro, tra esperienze vissute e amore reciproco.
In “Revirgination”, una coppia nell’Albania del 2018 decide di sposarsi, ma si scontrerà con la vecchia tradizione per cui la madre dello sposo deve essere presente alla prima notte di nozze per assicurarsi che la sposa sia vergine.
Infine, in “Hand In Cap” una madre di quarant’anni, vive con il figlio ventenne Andrea, affetto da gravi danni motori e neurologici. Andrea sente la necessità di masturbarsi. Niente sembra essere efficace, nemmeno l’aiuto di una prostituta. Andrea non sa e non saprà mai, ma chiede amore…

THE SCIENTIST OF SOUND
Mulatu Astatke is a musician, composer, arranger and Ethiopia’s cultural ambassador. He’s known as the godfather of ethio-jazz, a unique blend of jazz, traditional Ethiopian music, latin, caribbean reggae and afro-funk. Born in 1943 in Jimma, Mulatu studied music not only in Ethiopia but also in UK and USA. Indeed, in 1958 he was the first African enrolling to the Berklee College of Music in Boston. In 2005 he contributed to the soundtrack of Jim Jarmusch’s film “Broken Flowers”, reaching a new public worldwide. When he’s not busy with international tours, Mulatu lives in Addis Ababa, where he founded a music school and his own club, The African jazz Village. Astatke recently published “Cradle Of Umanity”, in collaboration with the multi-ethnical band Black Jesus Experience.
